SPE IITG Student Chapter
The SPE IIT Guwahati Student Chapter was founded in 2016 with a vision to fulfil the mission of SPE International-"To Collect, disseminate, and exchange technical knowledge regarding exploration, developemnt and production of Oil & Gas resources, and related technologies for the public benfit and to provide opportunities for students & Preofessionals to enhance their technical and professionals expertise. We aim to foster an environment that nurtures talent, sparks creativity and encourages students to take up exciting careers in the oil and gas industry. It hopes to bridge the gap between industry and academia through a series of events, competitions and industrial visits. SPE IITG Student Chapter will always strive to improve the quality of petroleum engineering education not just within the institute but also in the whole of north-east India.
